Blur it properly (a safety note)
Light blur can sometimes be partially reversed by sharpening software, and small pixel blocks can leak shapes. For genuinely sensitive content — ID numbers, faces of children, financial details — use a strong setting (strength near maximum, pixelate with big blocks), check the result at full size, and when in doubt, cover the area with a solid editor instead. Also remember metadata: this tool re-creates the image from pixels, so EXIF location data from the original photo does not carry into the download.
